As much as I love taking pictures, I actually rarely take them. Let me explain, I love photography. My love of photography is very clear; and my love of awesome gadgets is even clearer. However, I find it quite cumbersome to carry my camera with me wherever I go. It’s big and heavy. Of course, I carry a smart phone just like everyone else. But just like many other photographers, my phone is a phone. It’s not a camera.
I wanted to solve this issue once and for all. I want to be able to take pictures on the go, and size does matter. I wanted a digital compact that is small, but very capable. A good lens, a good sensor, in a compact and sexy package were what I wanted.
